Svadhistana - A Place Of One's Own

Svadhistana, the Sacral Chakra, “A Place of One’s Own.  If the Muladhara, the Root Chakra, relates to what psychologists call the Inner Child, then Svadhistana is the  Inner Adolescent .

It is a space where we first learn about falling out and back into Balance over and over again.  We first start climbing upward from the Earth ,from our roots, toward HEAVEN

Out of the resulting turmoil of that adolescence, the growth, the change, the finding a place of one’s own in the world, comes all the creativity in the Universe.  The urges to recreate ourselves through children, or the expression of that creativity through art, music, writing, acting, aesthetics, architecture, couture, and so many more, all come from that place of our own.
